WelcomeWelcome to the Practice County Tax Collectors On-Line Tax Sale Web Site. The Tax Collector will be auctioning off the 2008 Tax Certificates this year via an Internet On-Line Tax Sale, pursuant to Florida Statute 197.432, subsection (16) which authorizes tax certificates to be sold by electronic means.

** Changes to the On-Line Tax Sale for 2008 **
The requirements for Deposits have changed for the 2008 Tax Sale. This year, you will be required to deposit 10% on the Anticipated Amount of your winnings. This is a change from past years, which required you to deposit 10% of the total amount of your bid. This change should enable you to bid on more items, with the understanding that you won’t win them all. On the day of awarding, the system will track the amount of deposit that you have available as each item is awarded. As you win certificates, your available deposit amount will be reduced by 10% of the certificate you’ve won. Once you have used up your deposit, your future bids will not be submitted.

Getting Started
Before you can access this web site, you must first Sign Up (create a Web Account) followed by Logging In and completing the required Registration tasks. These registration procedures must be performed before you will be assigned an official Bidder Number, which entitles you to gain access to the Bidding web site where you’ll place your bids.

To get started:
1) Click on Sign Up to create your Web Account.
2) After your account is created, Log In into your new account and begin performing the Registration tasks.

Once you are registered, you will be ready to place your bids once bidding starts
(see Tax Sale Important Dates below for the start date for this county).

Practice Site
To help you learn how to use this system, we have created a Practice site that you can use to see how the site works. Click here to use the Practice Site. The practice site works just like the live site. You will need to Register and await your “practice” bidder number. Once your practice account has been setup, you can sign in using it and practice placing bids, etc. Remember, whatever bids you place on the Practice site is for practice only (not real).

On-Line Training Opportunities
There are several On-Line Training Opportunities available to you. Below are the scheduled Training dates. To register for an on-line training session, click on the Register for Training link next to the day you wish to join. This will take you to the Webex training session details where you can click on Register. This registration is to join the On-Line Training Class only. Once you’ve registered for an on-line Training session, you will receive an email with instructions on how to join the training session (via the web) and the conference call phone number to call into (via a phone).
